About the Pug-A-Poo
The Pug-A-Poo is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Miniature Poodle and the Pug. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Pug-A-Poo is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.
*All hybrid content is user generated and edited by our staff. If you know a lot about the Pug-A-Poo breed, please feel free to share what you know with our users. Please try to be as factual and well written as possible. Quality information will promote the growth of the breed.
The tail is long and curled and often lies on the back.
This breed is loyal, smart and great with children. They enjoy the company of others and do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. They need training from birth and some may be stubborn.
Some are prone to breathing problems.
Most owners choose to brush daily and give regular baths.
This breed will adapt to almost any environment. They can overheat in hot weather so be sure to keep them cool and well hydrated.
If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com. Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site.
Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
